Employee Self Service

Synopsis

The BG@100 project will be implementing the Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CSS) system as the Student Administration ‘system of record’ in a phased implementation plan from August 2008 – August 2009.  Details are accessible at the BG@100 web site:  www.bgsu.edu/bgat100.

As a part of the phased implementation scheduled for September 22, 2008, the Employee Self Service application will ‘Go-Live’.  The Update Personal Information portion of Employee Self Service will be replacing the Change Address application previous accessible by employees through MyBGSU.  The Change Address application was available limited hours.  The Update Personal Information option will be available 24 x 7.

This Sneak Peek was created during the BG@100 CSS implementation and was accurate as of the time of publication.  As the phased implementation progresses, some of the information presented in this Sneak Peek may be subject to change. Please consider this document accurate as of the time of publication and be aware that changes and updates to the system may have taken place since the creation of this document.

Details

The Change Address application will be available to BGSU employees through MyBGSU until September 18, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. This application was available to BGSU employees 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  This application appears to employees as:

On September 22 BGSU employees will once again have the ability to update their information.  This Update Personal Information application will be available to BGSU employees 24 x 7.  Employees will be able to update multiple address details along with phone number information using the Update Personal Information link within MyBGSU.

To access, employees will login to MyBGSU and select the Update Personal Information link available under MyServices.

Once the employee’s personal information has loaded, employees will have options to select links to My Addresses or My Phone Numbers. 

 

 

The My Addresses application will appear as:

In this example Frieda will have the option to edit her Home Address as well as her Mail Address. 

The Business Address is provided by Human Resources and is not accessible for edit by the employee.  Any changes to the information in this field may be requested by completing the On-Line Directory Information Update form available at:  http://www.bgsu.edu/its/tsc/page9432.html or by contacting Human Resources at ohr@bgsu.edu or 419-372-8421.

 

 

 

The My Phone Numbers application will appear as:
