Campus Solutions (CSS) Training
The Campus Solutions (CSS) training each user will receive is based on the types of tasks they will be completing in CSS.
The levels of security access are described below. For those who have access to the SIS system, their level of access in
CSS will be at a similar level. Details of specific training required for View Access and Advanced Access are outlined by
selecting the corresponding web link.
The CSS implementation is comprised of various modules and therefore users may have different levels of access for different
modules. For example, a user may have Advanced Access for Schedule of Classes and have View Only Access for Financial Aid.
There are several levels of security access:
View Access
View Access will allow the user to view the information available in Campus Solutions (CSS). Those with View Access will
be able to see data but will not be able to add, edit, or change CSS data. Users requesting View Access will need to follow
the steps outlined on the View Access Training web page
Advanced Access
Advanced Access will provide users with the ability to view and maintain CSS information. Users requesting Advanced Access will need to follow the steps outlined on the Advanced Access Training web page
"Back Office" Access
Back office users will need to have an in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the system. It is most likely that these users
complete business processes specific to their respective back office and may be responsible for entering or validating information
in the CSS system. It is probable that these users will work in areas such as Admissions, Graduate College, Bursar's Office,
Registration and Records, Financial Aid or closely related offices on both the main campus or at the Firelands campus. Training
sessions for back office users will be organized and scheduled by the BG@100 project team functional leads.
Any questions regarding training may be directed to BGat100@bgsu.edu.
