The following guides provide information on how to set up specific software applications to connect to the new Exchange server on or after the specified migration date.  

The recommendation for retirees is to use the new Outlook Web Access (OWA) interface, which has more features than the previous offering.  However, if preferred, retirees may use one of the e-mail clients listed below.

• Other applications
  • Most other applications can also access the new system using IMAPS.  While there are not specific guides for each application, the following are the general settings:
    • Mail server is mail.bgsu.edu
    • and uses port 993 (SSL)
    • SMTP server is outbound.bgsu.edu
    • and uses port 587 for authenticated users
