PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Student Administration) Update
The BG@100 project team continues to refine the business process modeling documentation as they begin unit testing the business
processes in the Campus Solution system. The business process modeling and unit testing exercises have produced opportunities
for the project team to expose the primary user offices to the changing business processes that will accompany the implementation
of Campus Solutions. These opportunities have allowed staff from the primary offices to see first hand how the Campus Solutions
System works.
The Executive Steering Committee (ESC) has been presented with the final Campus Solutions Implementation Scope documents.
This represents a major milestone for the team and establishes the boundaries of the implementation. The team plans to present
ESC with the Campus Solutions Implementation Project Plan during the month of April. The project plan will layout the tasks
required to complete the work necessary to meet the implementation scope and establish resource requirements to successfully
complete the project tasks.
The Residential Management System (RMS) implementation continues. The team is currently working to set up the RMS application
with the BGSU configuration data so that testing can proceed. The team is also analyzing the interface requirements between
RMS and Campus Solutions.
During the next 4 months, the BG@100 Project Team will initiate a variety of critical activities. The team will begin the
integration testing process which will allow the team and the primary users to become more confident with the new system.
The team will continue to test the conversion of information from the legacy systems to Campus Solutions which will allow
the team to confirm that the conversion is correct. The team is assembling Advisory Groups that will assist by providing
feedback on the implementation decisions. The team will make Campus Solutions training opportunities available to the campus
community. These activities will help prepare the campus for the implementation of the new system.
