PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (Student Administration) Update

The BG@100 Student Administration implementation fit gap is nearing completion.  Information gathered in each Fit Gap session is being reviewed and posted on the BG@100 web site.  The Fit Gap session notes can be found at the Campus Solutions Fit Gap - Session Notes link.  With Fit Gap wrapping up, the project team is beginning to shift their focus to Scope Planning and Process Modeling.

As of the end of October, the project team is 92% complete with Fit Gap sessions (Admissions and Student Records are both 100% complete).  The project team is 40% complete with reviewing the Fit Gap notes generated from these sessions (Admissions is 90% complete).  The team has conducted over 100 Fit Gap sessions and finalized nearly 45 sets of Fit Gap notes.

The BG@100 project team will be busy with Implementation Planning tasks for the next three months.  The implementation timeline is being drafted and an Implementation Project Plan is being assembled.  As important decisions are made by the project team and reviewed by the Executive Steering Committee, the plans will be communicated to campus.

BG@100 Project Office Update

The BG@100 project team welcomes Leslie Wilbourn to the BG@100 Project Office.  Leslie fills the role of Project Manager for the Student Administration implementation.

The BG@100 project office wishes farewell to Steve Hamrock.  The project team thanks him for his efforts as Student Records Functional Consultant and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.
