Welcome to the web presence for the BGSU Exchange Project. This project will transition account holders from the current BGNet based email system to a new Microsoft Exchange-based email system during the first half of 2008. The target completion date is June 30, 2008. Once transitioned to Exchange, Windows users can gain access to their email and calendar using Microsoft Outlook 2007 and Macintosh users can use Entourage 2008. Users will also have access to email and calendars through the Outlook Web Access (OWA) webmail-based client provided by Microsoft as well as any application that supports IMAPS. Outlook and Entourage allow for users to have integrated calendaring, email, tasks, contacts and other features. In order to provide users with the ability to transfer information, WebMail (available at webmail.bgsu.edu) will be available until July 14, 2008. All Meeting Maker accounts were moved to Exchange in May. Transitioning all accounts at the same time allowed for little interruption to the ability to schedule meetings. Please see the TSC Self-Help page link to the right for documentation on using Exchange for email and calendaring. Training for Outlook and Entourage will be offered by Continuing and Extended Education. Please reference training information at: http://ctc.bgsu.edu/exchange.
