Spacer BG@100 Residential Management System (RMS) Spacer
 

 

RMS is a web-based system that provides a solution for managing student housing at BGSU.  RMS integrates with Oracle/PeopleSoft Student Administration and will be part of the BG@100 Student Administration implementation.  The following functionality is available in the RMS system:

  • Application and Auto Assignment - This module automatically processes both new and returning residents.  It records the details of each applicants processing and automatically creates communications to the residents.
  • Accommodation Management - This module allows for room changes, room swaps, booking adjustments, room rate changes, and occupancy reporting.
  • Inventory, Maintenance and Housekeeping - This module manages the room inventory and maintenance record keeping functions.  This includes check-in and check-out, report and track room maintenance requests, and recording any housekeeping services that are provided.
  • Student Profile Management - This module allows for the management of information about each resident.
  • Incident Tracking - This module allows for the management of institution defined incident information including information for the Clery Act Reporting.
  • Billing and Liabilities - This module allows for the processing of charges and payments related to housing.
  • Meal and Other Plans - This module allows the institution to establish any number of resident plans including meal plans.  All plans have rates and are date dependent.

RMS also provides modules that can manage the following areas.

  • Judicial Affairs Management
    • Incident/Infraction/Violation Management
    • Hearing/Meeting Management
    • Sanctions Management
    • Communications Management
