PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions (FMS) Update
The University has been using PeopleSoft FMS as its financial system of record since Monday, February 5, 2007. During the
month of February, the system has been functioning well and there have been no significant issues reported. As of the beginning
of March, there were 643 user accounts activated in the FMS system.
The BG@100 Training team continues to offer FMS training classes during the month of March. If you have questions regarding
training, contact the BG@100 office at BGat100@bgsu.edu.
FMS users that have questions about the system can call the ITS Technical Support Center at 372-0999 or e-mail the BG@100
project office at BGat100@bgsu.edu.
PeopleSoft Campus Solution (Student Administration) Update
The BG@100 Student Administration core project began preparing for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions System (CSS) implementation
in November 2006. Thus far, the core team has attended the essential Oracle/PeopleSoft training classes and they have been
preparing information for the CSS fit gap sessions. Over the next couple of months, the team will be involved in planning
activities and defining the scope of the implementation.
BG@100 Project Office Update
The BG@100 Project Team will bid farewell to the FMS consultants during the month of March. John Gleason, Dan McTavish, Bob
Allen, and Andy Palm will all be departing BGSU for other opportunities. The BG@100 Project team thanks these individuals
for their assistance in a successful FMS implementation and wishes them the best.
The FMS functional leads will be moving back to their home offices in early March. Trish Jenkins, Maureen Ireland, Tom Kornacki,
Jen Milligan, and Linda Gray will be leaving the Project Office. These individuals committed many long days and an amazing
effort to the implementation of the FMS system. Without their efforts, the implementation would not have been such a success.
In March the functional leads for the Student Administration implementation will be moving to the Project Office. Carol Hague,
Tina Coulter, Nancy Colsman, Sue Lau, Laura Waggoner, Jason Gross, and Eric Zahnle will be joining the rest of the project
team at 414 East Wooster.
