Altiris IT Asset Management Project
As the use of technology grows and evolves the means used to support this technology also needs to evolve and progress. To
advance our technology support infrastructure, BGSU has purchased Altiris Total Management Suite. Altiris provides for a
managed model of support including hardware and software inventory, security patch management, help desk integration, software
installation, and data recovery. This product is very comprehensive and the plan is for it to be implemented in phases. Please
reference the links above for information regarding the various phases which are being planned for implementation.
