Admissions          *          Financial Aid         *           Student Records            *          Student Financials
Just the Basics.....
What? PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CSS) is being implemented at BGSU to process student related information:  admissions, enrollment, records, financial aid, bursar processes, transcripts, grades, etc.
Why? The legacy system has provided service for many years, however the move to a new system will help to support current and future requirements needed in a student system
When? The system is "going live" in a phased manner.  There is a monthly "go-live" scheduled from August 2008 - July 2009.  As items are phased in during the multiple go-lives, data and information is transferred to the CSS system and processing in CSS begins.  For example, undergraduate applications for Fall 2009 admission started to be processed in CSS as of September 2008 and enrollment for Summer and Fall 2009 began in CSS following the February 2009 go-live.
Who? Everyone who has been using the legacy SIS student system will be changed over to CSS.  Faculty, staff, and students will have a new self-service components accessible via MyBGSU.
How? The BG@100 project team began working on the project in 2003.  The student focused phase of the project began in October 2006.  A dedicated project team has worked since that time to successfully complete this transition.  Further details are available at the BG@100 web site.
