Oracle/PeopleSoft ERP Project
Project Home Page

Welcome

The project to install an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system at BGSU began in 2003.   The decision to deploy an ERP system was made in order to integrate data and processing into a unified system while also providing a means to migrate the University from aging legacy systems.  The use of an ERP helps with information integration, process efficiency, managerial decision making, cost reduction, accuracy, and information accessibility.

The project to install an ERP system at BGSU was named BG@100 with the focus of implementing Oracle/PeopleSoft for administrative systems by the university's centennial celebration in 2010.

Working toward this goal the Human Capital Management (HCM) module was implemented in 2005, followed by the Financial Management System (FMS) in 2007 and Campus Solutions (CSS) for student administration in 2009.

With this project there is a commitment to providing efficient, effective and high quality information and service to students, faculty and staff.  This commitment is seen through the successful Oracle/PeopleSoft implementation and continued support of the system.  BGSU is currently in production with FMS 8.9 and CSS / HCM 9.   A move to FMS v9.1 is being planned with implementation targeted for July 2011.
