Career Center
Fall 2011 EXPO Invitation

Thursday, October 6, 2011 & Friday, October 7, 2011
Perry Field House

The BGSU Career Center team strives to simplify and streamline recruiting by offering a wide range of college relations programs and recruitment services.  For more than two decades, employers have successfully recruited outstanding BGSU students and recent graduates at our job fairs.  We invite you to recruit at BGSU by participating in the Fall 2011 EXPO Job & Internship Fair.  This two-day event is designed to provide employers an outstanding opportunity to network with top-notch candidates at all degree levels who are seeking internships, co-ops, and career (post-graduation) employment opportunities.  Beat the competition to hire BGSU's best and brightest by interviewing at the Fall 2011 EXPO Interview Day (optional) on October 7th.

WHY ATTEND?

  • Save time!  Fall EXPO is well organized; we attend to the smallest details, so your representatives can give their full attention to identifying candidates for your current or future openings.
  • Reduce your recruitment costs!  Take full advantage of your time on campus to speak with talented BGSU students and recent graduates from a variety of academic programs.
  • Tell your recruitment story to highly motivated students who are eager to investigate career (post-graduation) and internship options, share their career aspirations and goals, and interview with your organization.
  • Access quality career and internship candidates!  Pre-select students to interview for your internships, co-ops, and career (post-graduation) positions at the EXPO Interview Day on October 7th.
  • Build brand recognition; establish relationships with student leaders, faculty, advisors, and other college administrators; and gain word-of-mouth referrals for your organization.
  • View resumes and generate interest!  Registered organizations are given access to resumes of students and recent graduates on WorkNet, our on-line recruitment system.
  • Stimulate interest in your organization and extend invitations to visit your table at the fair by contacting student leaders and faculty members in advance.

ADVERTISE TO BUILD BRAND RECOGNITION ON CAMPUS
Each year, the Career Center publishes and distributes 3,000 copies of the EXPO Job Fair Guide.  This comprehensive resource is circulated campus-wide to inform students about organizations that are attending Fall EXPO. The Guide contains brief employer profiles and hiring opportunities.  Students and recent graduates eagerly await the release of The Guide to target employers who are hiring for their career interests and identify employers scheduled to interview on October 7th. Providing a camera-ready ad for the EXPO Job Fair Guide enhances your organization's visibility on campus, stimulates student interest in your current or anticipated employment opportunities, helps generate traffic to your table at the fair, and motivates students to sign up for interviews with your organization.

You can express interest in advertising in the EXPO Job Fair Guide when submitting your registration form (see information below). The deadline to submit your advertisement request for the Fall 2011 EXPO Job Fair Guide is September 5, 2011. For more advertising information and details, click here.
