Interview and Network with Employers
Information Sessions
Network with employers and learn more about their organizations by attending information sessions. These sessions are a great way for you to learn what it might be like to work for a specific employer or in a given industry or sector. Generally, you will have an opportunity to speak with the representatives in small groups or individually before or after the presentation. Ask questions and learn more about how to become a stronger candidate. Professional or "business casual" dress is appropriate
To learn about upcoming Employer Information Sessions, access your WorkNet account and click on the “Employer Information Sessions” link found under “Quick Links”. Employers schedule information sessions throughout the semester, so make sure you check this list periodically.
On-Campus Interviews
The Career Center offers a venue for you to interview with employers on-campus. BGSU students and academic programs are highly regarded, attracting hundreds of employers to campus annually. To view the calendar of employers who are interviewing and to schedule your spot login to WorkNet.
Interview Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Due to the professional nature of on-campus interviews, the following policy is enforced when a candidate fails to show up for a scheduled interview.
If you fail to attend your schedule interview(s):
- You will be notified via e-mail of your absence.
- Your WorkNet account will be deactivated immediately (no access to job postings, resume referrals, and on-campus interviews).
- To reactivate your account, contact the Career Center at 419-372-2356 to schedule an appointment with a Career Center consultant.
The Career Center reserves the right to modify the terms and enforcement of this Policy at any time.
