Sandra Tolbert

“I’m sweet and sour, kind of like an orange,” said Sandra Tolbert, Campus Operations help desk consultant.
Tolbert has been working for Campus Operations for the past 12 years. She receives maintenance calls, work orders and key orders, distributes alarm codes, and handles customer questions and concerns.
Tolbert was born in Chicago Illinois, and grew up in Jerry City Ohio. She met Rick, her husband of nine years, through a mutual friend here in Bowling Green. They have eight kids: six girls and two boys as well as eight grandkids.
“Being a grandma is fun,” said Tolbert. “I spoil them and do all the things I wouldn’t let my kids do, and then send them home to their parents!”
In her spare time she likes to go hiking and camping, including trips to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Tolbert is a people person. If she were a color, she would be coral, because it’s bright and happy, like her. Tolbert is someone who loves to tease and joke around with people. She’s also pretty straight forward; “I don’t hide too much of myself from anybody,” she said.
One of her favorite quotes is, “Be patient enough to live one day at a time, letting yesterday go, and loving tomorrow until it arrives.”
