BGSU goes Paperless with eBilling

The new features of the Bursar billing statement took affect on April 6. 2009

Monthly billing statements are now produced electronically.  Students will be notified via their BGSU email address that the statement has been produced and is available for viewing.  Paper bills are no longer printed and mailed.

Log on to my.bgsu and click on "Bursar Bill View/Pay".  Once logged on you will see the link for authorizing parents or other designated users (Parent PIN).  Once authorized, designated users will also receive an email notification via the email address provided by the student.  Notification is sent regardless of whether or not you may have a balance due. To avoid multiple notifications being sent, please make sure to view your account when your email notification arrives.

Users now have the ability to make online payments, search for a payment and view payment history information.  Since paper bills will no longer be issued, please make sure to print off a copy of your bill if needed.  A record of your monthly bills will be kept online for future viewing.  Please keep in mind that only bills generated in April and forward will be available online.

No more waiting in line.  Beginning with Spring 2010 refund checks will no longer be available for pickup at the Bursar's Office.  To make sure that you receive your refund in a timely manner and to avoid having your check mailed to your permanent address (unless tht is where you want it mailed), make sure to enroll in eRefund and have your check direct deposited to your designated account.  There is a ten day waiting period required so tht the bank can verify that your account information is correct.

Please contact the Bursar's Office with any questions you have regarding the new billing procedure.
