BGSU Bursar's Office goes green by moving to electronic billing - eBill
Effective April 2009, Bowling Green State University began using eBilling as the only method of providing statements for student
accounts. An email notification is sent to students BGSU email addresses advising them their bill is ready to view regardless
of whether or not they may owe a balance. Please make sure that you activate your BGSU email account as this is the only
means of knowing that your statement is ready. Paper bills are no longer being mailed. Students are urged to view their bill
when notification is received. Reminder notices will continue to be sent until the bill has been viewed. Students may also
authorize other users to view/pay their bill by assigning them a parent PIN. Parent PINs assigned will receive notification
at the same time. The parent PIN only gives access to the billing and payment information.
Bowling Green's tuition is divided into two charges: instructional fee and general fee. The instructional fee, supplemented
by state appropriations, finances the University's educational programs. The general fee pays for most student services and
activities. In addition, those students living on campus pay room and meal charges (See Residence Halls and Meals).
Please note that only one $8 registration fee is charged per term regardless of the hours you are registered.
