- Parking Fines, Parking Permits
These charges and any other miscellaneous charges must be paid by the due date indicated on the monthly bill from the Office

Financial Aid & Scholarships
You may subtract your approved financial aid (do not use Workstudy) and scholarships (please send us a copy of any outside scholarship awards as proof)
from your account balance and budget the remainder of your room, meals and/or fees on the Installment Payment Plan. If financial
aid, scholarships and any outside awards are received after the first payment has been made, you may elect to have your plan
recalculated. Please submit a letter to our office asking for the recalculation. If you choose not to have your plan recalculated,
the financial aid will be applied to future installments as payment. If financial aid is decreased after enrollment in the
payment plan and you do not request a recalculation, you will be billed for the difference in full.
Include only the amount of your approved financial aid and scholarships to be applied to the specific semester. For example, if you received a Perkins Loan for the
academic year, then you would apply one-half of the loan amount to the Fall Semester budget and the other half to the Spring
Semester budget.
If you have not signed your promissory note or done your entrance interview for your direct loans, please do so immediately

Additional Information
Students may make a larger initial payment than required. The remaining balance may then be paid in installments, which will
be calculated and billed by the Office of the Bursar.
Students must pay all of their outstanding balance from the previous semester before they can participate in the next successive
semester's Installment Payment Plan. The first payment cannot be paid by financial aid or scholarships. Accounts having previous
delinquency problems may be denied enrollment.
Please keep payments current to avoid possible holds of grades, registration, transcripts, diplomas and other University services.
Accounts 60 days delinquent will be removed from the payment plan with the total balance due immediately.
A late fee will be assessed for each partial or full payment made after the due date and every subsequent month the account
remains delinquent. In addition to installment payments, miscellaneous charges not paid by the due date can result in the
assessment of a service charge and holds being placed on grades, transcripts, diplomas, registration and other University
services until the account is current. Please pay promptly to avoid these penalties.
A monthly statement will be sent to participating students/families However, it is the participant's responsibility to know the payment due dates and make payments on time, even though you may
not have received a statement in the mail. The statement will show the Total Amount Now Due. Included in this total is the
Installment Payment Plan amount plus any other miscellaneous University charges.
Students may view their Bursar Account on-line at: https://my.bgsu.edu Sunday-Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
