REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
If you are not completely satisfied with any product, we will gladly replace it or refund the purchase price of the item per the terms below.
In Store Purchases:
Refunds are issued at the customer service registers at the main entrance of the store. Refunds cannot be given without a cash register receipt and a valid ID.
Course Materials: Full refunds will be allowed on used and new textbooks, with a sales receipt. Due to publisher policies, full refunds cannot be granted on opened, shrink-wrapped textbooks. Full refunds will be made according to the following schedule: Within seven (7) days from the start of fall and spring semester, within five (5) days of the start of each summer session, and before the first day of registered workshops.
General Merchandise: Refunds on purchases other than textbooks will be allowed for ten (10) days from the date of the purchase as shown on the cash register receipt. The merchandise must be in new and re-saleable condition. Items must be intact within the original packaging provided at the time of purchase.
Electronics: Computer software, music, DVDs/videos, gaming devices/supplies, and Apple® products cannot be accepted for refund if packaging has been opened.
Miscellaneous: Flash drives, magazines, newspapers and telephone calling cards cannot be returned under any circumstances.
If you paid by credit card, for security reasons your card number does not appear on the receipt. You must bring the original debit/credit card in order to receive a refund; otherwise a BGSU Bookstore gift card will be issued.
General Merchandise Order Returns: Include the original packing slip with the items you are returning, wrap the package securely, and ship the package to the address below. Please note the reason for your return. Be sure to use a traceable means and record the tracking number for future reference, since we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns.
