Rule on hours had softened when freshman women were allowed to stay out until 8 p.m. on week nights and upperclass women until 10 p.m.
Proctors checked the rooms at 10:45 to be sure everyone was in and lights went out at 11:00 p.m.
Las Amigas started on campus with seven charter members.
The State College Band purchased new uniforms.
