  • Yearbook takes on new name: The Key (Coach McCandles wrote on Jan. 29, 1924, “My Annual and What it Means to Me” and referred to the annual as “a key used to unlock his past.”

  • The first business club, Quill Type, was established. Its motto was “Speed, accuracy and efficiency.” Its colors were red and black, taken from the colors of the typewriter's ribbon.
