How to apply
The 2011 application deadline has passed. 2012 application materials will be available on this page in August. 

Historically, the criteria for applying have been:

• BGSU main campus admissions application and credentials must be on file with the Office of Admissions.
• Must have ACT score (27 or higher) and/or SAT score (1100 or higher, excluding writing portion) on file with the Office of Admissions.
• Must have at least a 3.5 cumulative high school GPA on a 4.0 scale on file with the Office of Admissions.

Selection process
All complete applications are reviewed by a scholarship review committee. The committee is comprised of BGSU faculty, staff and alumni. From review, 15 students are selected to participate in Alumni Laureate Scholar Selection Weekend including a reception for students and families and an on-campus interview.

Those selected students must participate in the weekend to be eligible for the scholarship. Selection Weekend for current applicants is scheduled for Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28, 2012.
