Feasting with a Falcon  |  November 1

Want a chance to get to know some of the best and brightest BGSU has to offer? Looking for a way to give back to the students? Simply want to enjoy a dinner with others who love orange and brown as much as you do? Then Feasting with a Falcon is for you!

The Student Alumni Connection is sponsoring several dinners on November 1, 2007, in the Bowling Green area for students and alumni to get to know each other. These dinners will be hosted by alumni within their homes to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere. Each dinner will consist of 1-3 alumni and 8-12 current BGSU students and will allow students and alumni to build relationships, while enjoying a delicious meal.

Who are we looking for? 
Excited BG alumni interested in hosting a dinner within 30 minutes of campus.

Responsibilities as a host
Plan a dinner that will allow students and alumni to get to know each other and have fun in the process. The Student Alumni Connection is able to provide the finances to sponsor the dinner.  However, it is also available for you to pay for the dinner yourself. The details of the dinner are up to you!  Make it as formal or informal as you would like.  A Student Alumni Connection committee is in place to help you throughout the planning process and the implementation of the event. Enjoy getting to know wonderful BG students as you build Falcon camaraderie.

Don’t live close enough to host a dinner but still want a way to give back?
Sponsor or co-sponsor the dinner!  Help out the Student Alumni Connection and the hosts by providing the food for the evening. If you live close enough to BG, travel in to enjoy the dinner with the students.

When:  Thursday, November 1, 2007

Where:  The homes of local alumni (within 30 minutes driving distance of Bowling Green)

How:  Dinners will be provided by the Student Alumni Connection or other interested alumni.  The details of each individual dinner will be worked out between the alumni and the S.A.C. committee.
