The Recent Graduate Award is presented to an individual who has graduated from BGSU within the last 15 years and has demonstrated
a commitment to civic involvement and to participation in University and/or Alumni Association activities.
 2008 Honoree: William Gustwiller '01
A fine arts graduate of BGSU, William Gustwiller is the owner and head chocolatier of San Diego-based Eclipse Chocolat, founded
in 2004. Eclipse strives to expand the boundaries of chocolate flavors while operating in an eco-friendly manner and donating
10% of its annual net profit to area nonprofits. Mr. Gustwiller’s creations have earned positive reviews in several publications
and are featured at exclusive venues including San Diego’s W Hotel.
