Jane Miller is a retired remedial reading teacher and principal. She taught 33 years at Crestline, Ohio. She also taught two summers at the BGSU Reading Center and taught reading methods to South Central and River Valley elementary teachers. She received a bachelor’s degree (1958) in elementary education and a master’s degree (1959) in reading. She also started the girl’s high school tennis program. During her tenure she also served as Title I director, curriculum coordinator and proficiency test coordinator. She is a member of the local Red Cross Board of Directors, the Library Board of Directors and volunteers with Meals on Wheels, Ohio Reads and the Hutson Scholarship Committee. Jane and her husband, Robert ’60, reside in Crestline, Ohio.
