 CONRAD ALLEN Member, Alumni Association Board of Directors Term: 2006 - 2010
Conrad Allen is a senior geologist for ExxonMobile Exploration Company. He earned a bachelor’s (1991) and a master’s (1997) degree from
Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University. At BGSU, he was a
graduate student senator and earned a commission through the Army ROTC program, later serving as an Army Engineer Officer.
As a member of the Presidents Club, he endowed the Alonzo ’75 & Therese Allen Scholarship in honor of his parents and the
Conrad & Deanna Allen Scholarship. He is active with the Bowling Green Alumni Association, serving as president of the Houston
chapter. He received the 2001 Recent Graduate Award and was named a Distinguished Graduate at BGSU Firelands. He is the recipient
of the Dorothy Stout Distinguished Graduate Award from the University geology department. The U.S. Secretary of Energy appointed
Mr. Allen to the National Petroleum Council and he also served on the Department of Energy’s Natural Gas Roundtable in Washington,
D.C. Mr. Allen is a regular instructor of geology and geophysics at the University of Texas at Austin Petroleum Extension
and at the University of Houston Downtown. He resides in Spring, Texas with his wife, Deanna (Diller) ’91, and their two children.
