Diane Thorpe is an art educator at Bowsher High School in Toledo. Since graduating from BGSU with a bachelor’s of art education degree (1987), she has earned a master’s degree in art education from the University of Toledo and has taught in the Toledo Public School System. Ms. Thorpe is very active in Toledo Public Schools as a facilitator for the Jefferson-Madison Leadership Camp, teacher of professional growth courses for TPS employees and co-chair of the annual senior art exhibition. Additionally, she has held leadership positions with Phi Delta Kappa, the Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA) and the Toledo Museum of Art Education Advisory Board. She resides with her husband, Michael, in Toledo, Ohio.
