Ways to Give Back
Private Funds
As Bowling Green State University seeks to become the premier learning community in Ohio and one of the best in the nation, private funds are essential to help establish and maintain pockets of excellence that truly distinguish BGSU from other colleges and universities.
The University continues to seek private funds for scholarships, faculty endowments, capital projects, international programs and other special initiatives. Of critical value, too, are undesignated contributions, which allow BGSU to respond where funds are most needed.
Private funds are used to recruit and prepare quality students and faculty, to pursue lifelong learning, to create and maintain classroom technology, to advance specialized programs that give Bowling Green graduates an edge in the professional world, and to endow such endeavors well into the future.
Gifts are tax deductible as contributions to a tax-exempt organization as described in sections 501 (c)(3) and 170 (c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The information and suggestions on this page are not intended as legal advice. All gifts and planning opportunities should be discussed with one's professional advisors.
