The 2012 Believe in BG Senior Class Campaign is about leaving a lasting legacy for your class at Bowling Green. As you transition from current students to young alumni, we trust that BGSU has provided you with an experience that has prepared you for a productive and meaningful life. In order to provide these same opportunities to future Falcons, it is essential that we support our institution.

You have the ability to make an immediate impact with participation in the Believe in BG Senior Campaign. In celebration of your graduation year, we are asking members of the Class of 2012 to support The Excellence Fund for BGSU, directly benefiting students like you. Every single student can make a difference, and the collective efforts of the Class of 2012 can make a big difference! Why should I make a gift? 

• To participate and make a difference for current and future students.
• Any gift can have an immediate impact on campus. Last year gifts of $25 or less added up to over $130,000 of support for BGSU students.
• To honor your graduating class and the friendships you have made.
• To increase the value of your degree.
• To recognize the positive educational and personal experiences you have had, and to ensure that BGSU can continue to provide these opportunities.

I'm already giving money to the University with my tuition. 

Your tuition covers a small portion of what it actually costs to run our University, so gifts from private sources are critical. You have seen the benefits from gifts made by students before you. Gifts from alumni and friends make a difference in the quality of education at Bowling Green State University.

How can my gift of $50, $20.12, $10 or $5 make a difference?

• If 200 students give $50, it equals $10,000
• If 600 students give $20.12, it equals $12,072
• If 1,000 students give $10, it equals $10,000
• If 2,000 students give $5, it equals $10,000

How will my gift be used?

This year's Believe in BG Senior Campaign aims to benefit The Excellence Fund for BGSU, which allows for the flexibility and agility needed to respond to emerging opportunities or challenges in funding student programming, scholarships, and outside-the-classroom experiences. By giving to The Excellence Fund, you are directly contributing to the success of students like you.
