Falcon Florida Getaway 2013

Feb. 10-11: Two Great Days To Be A Falcon

Come and celebrate Falcon Spirit with your fellow BGSU alumni and friends at the 2013 Falcon Florida Getaway at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Naples, Fla. The event combines two alumni favorites: the Doyt Perry Classic and the BGSU Alumni College.

  • Golf Scramble
The 18-hole scramble with President Mazey and Coach Clawson will be played on the beautifully refurbished Naples Golf Club course. A box lunch will be provided at the turn. As always, non-golfers may opt for a spa experience, shopping, beachcombing and more.

    Falcon Greats Reception
Catch up with your fellow Falcons — including letterwinners and coaches — and hear the latest news about BGSU Athletics. The reception will feature gourmet stations with plenty of appetizing food as President Mazey and Athletics Director Greg Christopher welcome the Falcon faithful and introduce the Falcon Greats panel featuring Coach Clawson. Don’t miss the live auction that will include such favorites as travel with the Falcon Football team next season.

    Falcon Greats Panel Discussion
This group of coaches and letterwinners — including former Falcon and Denver Bronco Dave Preston ’77 — will field your questions and discuss the past, present and future of Falcon Football and BGSU Athletics in general with the help of moderator John Harbal ’72.
