"In-Depth" Tutoring Sessions
The Math & Stats Tutoring Center will be hosting "In-Depth" Tutoring Sessions starting in the Fall 2009 semester. These sessions, targeted for Math 1120 and Math 1220, will be led by Michelle Heckman
and Katy August. The goal is to not only review material covered in class, but to go more "in-depth" with the course material
for students who feel that they need a little more detail than class time allows. There will also be time reserved for questions/answers.
Sessions will be held twice a week for each course during the following days/times:
1120: Mondays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm or Tuesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
1220: Wednesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm or Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Students are welcome to come and go as they please. We understand that with class and work schedules, arriving late or leaving
early may be necessary.
First Year Success Series Workshops
While all students are welcome to attend these workshops, Freshmen may receive FYSS credit for attending.

- "Using the TI-83/84 Graphing Calculator" (repeat), Thursday, September 3 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
- "Navigating MyMathLab," Tuesday, September 8 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
- "How to Prepare for a College Math Exam," Wednesday, September 9 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
- "Navigating MyMathLab" (repeat), Thursday, September 10 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- "How to Prepare for a College Math Exam" (repeat), Monday, September 14 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm
All workshops will be held in 208 Moseley Hall.
