The Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP)
In cooperation with the State of Ohio, BGSU offers the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program. In Plan B, the state assumes the full cost of tuition and textbooks thus making this option popular with parents and students.
The credits earned at BGSU are transferable to other Ohio colleges and universities, thereby giving students a head start
on their undergraduate degree.
PSEOP provides qualified high school students (9th - 12th grades) the opportunity to strengthen and enrich their educational
experience through direct involvement in college level coursework. Students who participate in this program receive college
credit which may also fulfill high school requirements, if approved by the student's home school district.
The program is intended to complement rather than replace the high school college preparatory curriculum. To ensure maximum
benefit to the student, a close working relationship is necessary among the student's local school district, parents or guardians,
and the University. it is the responsibility of all involved parties to maintain clear and continuous communication to guarantee
that the student receives the greatest possible benefit from participation in this program.

High School College Credit Program (HSCCP)
The High School College Credit Program is offered during the regular academic year as well as during the summer term. Parents
assume the full cost of tuition, textbooks, and fees. A few special summer programs are funded by grants secured by faculty members. In these instances, the grants may cover part of the tuition. Programs range from summer study in Salzburg, Austria to the
Regents Environmental Academy, a three-week residential program with an emphasis on science. Another summer science program is the Post-Secondary On-line Corridor a ten-week distance-learning program.
