Academic organization
Courses
of instruction leading to baccalaureate degrees
are provided through: the College of Arts and
Sciences, which includes the School of Art and
the School of Communication Studies; the College
of Business Administration; the College of Education
and Human Development, which includes the School
of Family and Consumer Sciences, the School
of Human Movement, Sport and Leisure Studies,
the School of Leadership and Policy Studies,
and the School of Education and Intervention
Services; the College of Health and Human Services,
which includes the School of Nursing; the College
of Musical Arts; and the College of Technology.
Associate degrees are available through BGSU
Firelands. Graduate degrees are offered through
the Graduate College.
An
undergraduate student enrolls in one of the seven colleges.
An undergraduate student who has not yet identified a
major in a specific college enrolls in the Office of Pre-Major
Advising. The office helps students explore potential
majors while preparing to meet general University requirements
and the more specific requirements of colleges in which
they may decide to study.
