Accreditation

Our programs are designed to provide intellectual challenges and opportunities for practical application of knowledge that enable our graduates to assume responsibility as future leaders.

Majors in the College of Education and Human Development that are responsible for the preparation of professional educators and school personnel are fully accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) in concert with standards of the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). In addition to these broad college-level accreditations, individual programs maintain accreditations in compliance with standards of their particular Special Program Associations and professional associations.
