Middle School Honors Chorus

Saturday, May 10, 2014

The College of Musical Arts of Bowling Green State University will host a Middle School Honors Chorus on Saturday, May 10, 2014.  Directed by Dr. Mark Munson, Professor of Music Education and Director of Choral Activities, members of the honors chorus will be selected seventh and eight grade singers who are nominated by their school choral directors.

Members of the chorus will gather on campus at 9 a.m. on May 10 and will rehearse together until lunchtime.  Rehearsals will resume after lunch and continue until 4:00 p.m. when family and friends will have the opportunity to hear a performance given by the honors chorus and the BGSU A Cappella Choir.

While there is no charge to submit an application, those selected to participate in the honors chorus will need to submit a registration fee of $25 to reserve their place in the chorus.

To apply for membership in the BGSU Middle School Honors Chorus, complete the MSHC Application Form and give it to your middle school chorus director no later than February 21, 2014.  In turn, your chorus director should send all of the applications to BGSU no later than February 28.  The roster of members selected will be sent by e-mail to all applicants, their parents, and their teachers by March 7.

Submit application to your chorus director by Friday, February 21.
