Vocal Arts Camp - July 6 - 11, 2014
Do you have a passion for singing? Are you interested in developing your vocal skills? The SMI Vocal Arts Camp is for you! The purpose of the camp is to help you develop your voice while nurturing your passion for singing. You will receive private lessons, attend vocal seminars, participate in master classes and attend recitals by faculty and staff. Because singing involves so many diverse skills, students will also explore other tools such as diction, vocal interpretation, audition techniques, stage deportment and basic musicianship skills. Each student will be provided with a firm foundation for healthy singing.
Be a high school student entering grades 10 through 12 with a strong interest and experience singing.
Scholarships are available to help defray the cost of the camp. The Dorothy M. Price Scholarship requires an application form. Please check the Scholarships page for more information.
