Junior BGSU violin student, Thomas Moody, is a finalist for the Hatch. On April 6, BGSU student entrepreneurs will present their business ideas to alumni investors, vying for funds to launch their businesses in a format similar to the popular television show “Shark Tank.” This event will be live streamed.

Moody is working closely with mentor David Hainline to create a Virtual Reality sales software that is used for hiring positions in the sales industry. His idea is a company that will expand Virtual Reality technology from the world of gaming, into the world of everyday professionals.

Moody is a junior majoring in sales/services marketing and finance in the Schmidthorst College of Business Administration. In addition, he is also taking violin lessons with professor Caroline Eva Chin and has played in the Bowling Green Philharmonia while at BGSU. He is extremely passionate about music, continuing to drive to Bowling Green weekly to teach his private violin students during his semester-leave to pursue a full-time internship. He is currently preparing a full recital program for a performance in Bryan Hall next fall.

Congratulations and good luck, Thomas!
