Join the College of Musical Arts for a special memorial concert on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in Kobacker Hall, as we celebrate the life of our dear friend and colleague, Dr. Roger B. Schupp.

Dr. Roger B. Schupp, Professor of Percussion and Jazz Studies at Bowling Green State University’s College of Musical Arts from 1992-2015, was a versatile performer in the areas of classical, jazz, and world music. Dr. Schupp performed in a variety of ensembles, recorded with diverse artists, and had an active teaching career, presenting concerts, clinics, and masterclasses in over 30 states and 20 countries on 5 continents.

To celebrate his life, current and former students, College of Musical Arts faculty, student ensembles and special guest artist Carl Allen come together in concert. The concert, held in Kobacker Hall in Moore Musical Arts Center, will be free and open to the public. Donations will be collected to support the planned Dr. Roger B. Schupp Percussion Room. A reception will follow the program. Donations can also be made online by visiting bgsu.edu/givemusic and dedicating the donation to "Roger Schupp."

If you are unable join us in person, we will be live streaming this performance on our website. Please visit bgsu.edu/cmalivestream to view the performance that afternoon.
