The deadline to register is June 4.

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes when your favorite recording artist goes into the studio to record its next album? Experience it first-hand at the BGSU Recording Studio Camp.

We will be concentrating on studio techniques including use of microphones, mixing consoles, effects processors, and digital recording. We will also cover some of the ways the computer is used in today’s modern studio.

The main activity of the camp will be to give each camper as much hands-on recording experience as possible. This will include the recording of a number of songs using campers as the musicians. No prior technical knowledge is necessary, so don’t let that stop you from an experience that could have an impact on your career in music.

There is a special form for recording camp students interested in applying for the Dorothy M. Price SMI Scholarship. That special form can be downloaded in a PDF format.
