Founders was built in 1957, then renovated and re-opened in the fall of 1993. The residence hall contains 73 apartment-style
suites with double and single rooms.
Special features include individually controlled air conditioning and heat, exterior electronic security/access system, four
guest apartments, and several conference rooms. Each room is equipped with a computer connection and private phone.
Founders is also totally accessible to the physically challenged. The dining area, Keepers, is a 'food court'-style dining
facility, and remains open from early morning to late night.
