Jerome Library

William T. Jerome Library, built in 1967, houses:

  • First Floor
    • Circulation desk, document delivery, library computer workstations, reference materials, periodicals and microforms, reserve materials, inter-library loan, photocopy machines, government documents, Electronic Reading Room and a computer lab.
  • Second Floor
    • Curriculum Resource Center, the Administrative Offices and the technical services department.
  • Third Floor
    • The Music Library and Sound Recording Archives, which boasts more than 600,000 popular recordings and associated print documentation. This is the largest academic collection of popular music in the country.
  • Fourth Floor
    • The Popular Culture Library has the largest popular culture collection in the world, and is visited by hundreds of scholars from the United States and abroad doing research each year.
  • Fifth and Sixth Floors
    • The Center for Archival Collections houses historical materials that document the history of Ohio, the Great Lakes, and Bowling Green State University.
  • Seventh and Eighth Floors
    • Quiet study areas and the Ramona Cormier Faculty Reading Room

Conveniences available at the library include debit cards used for the photocopy machines, a snackbar with vending machines and e-mail stations, an Electronic Reading Room, and an ITS-operated computer lab.
