To obtain a personal web server account at BGSU, you must first have a BGSU e-mail account and have access to My BGSU because
you will need your BGSU e-mail userid and password to login to My BGSU during the application process. If you do not remember
your password, stop by the Technology Support Center at 110 Hayes Hall.
If you already have a BGSU e-mail account and have access to My BGSU, use this process to request a Personal web server account:
When the authentication login page is displayed, enter your BGSU e-mail userid and authentication password. Then click on
the login button or press the RETURN key.
When your My BGSU page is loaded, click on the link 'Add Server Accounts' under Account Admin in the MyServices portlet.
When the Server Account Registration page comes up, you will be asked to pick a server account. Select 'Personal' and click
on the submit button.
A copy of the Acceptable Use Policy for Information Technologies will be posted for your review. If you agree to abide by
those policies, click on the checkbox, then the submit button. You must agree to receive an account.
You will receive an e-mail message when your personal web server account is available.
