Account Creation Self Help

Below is a list of accounts available at BGSU and information about obtaining them. A BGSU E-mail account is account available to all current and admitted BGSU students, faculty, and staff. You must get that account before you can apply for any other computer account at BGSU. As part of the BGSU E-mail account creation process, you will be issued an account on the MyBGSU web portal,  eLearning (the Blackboard server), MyFiles, ePortfolio and the Windows XP domain server. The time when your eLearning (Blackboard) account is available will depend on the time your BGSU E-mail account was created. For details, click here.  You will use your BGSU userid and password for MyBGSU, to login to a Windows XP computer, and whenever you are asked to authenticate to gain access to protected resources at BGSU.

The links below will take you to instructions or an online application form to apply for that account. Note that some accounts are only available to individuals or groups that meet certain criteria. If you need information about account passwords, see the Password Self Help page.
