Below is a list of accounts available at BGSU and information about obtaining them. A BGSU E-mail account is account available to all current and admitted BGSU students, faculty, and staff. You must get that account before you can apply for any other computer account at BGSU. As part of the BGSU E-mail account creation
process, you will be issued an account on eLearning (the Blackboard server) and the Windows XP domain server. The time when your eLearning (Blackboard) account is available will depend on the time your BGSU E-mail account was created.
For details, click here. You will use your BGSU userid and password for MyBGSU, to login to a Windows XP computer, and whenever you are asked to
authenticate to gain access to protected resources at BGSU.
The links below will take you to instructions or an online application form to apply for that account. Note that some accounts
are only available to individuals or groups that meet certain criteria. If you need information about account passwords, see

Authentication userid and password Same as your BGSU account userid and password.
BGSU E-mail Account (Outlook Web Access (OWA), Outlook, Entourage) I have a temporary ID card. How to I activate my BGSU email account? I have my BGSU ID card. Where do I go to activate my BGSU E-mail account? Account will be created at the top of the hour.
BGSU Office Account (for offices/departments, faculty/staff groups and registered student groups) Application form 
BGResearch Account BGResearch Account Information Account will be created within 72 hours of receiving a valid request.
BGUnix Account Obtaining a BGUnix Account Account will be created at the top of the hour.
Classwork Account - (accounts for web development requested by teaching faculty for a specific semester's class; accounts deleted at end of
each semester) Obtaining Classwork Accounts More information about the Classwork server Takes approximately 3 days to process account requests.
CICS Account Obtaining a CICS Account After the required forms are received by the TSC, it will take approximately 24 hours to create the account.
Content Management System (CMS) Account Accounts are issued to University Employees building their office or department web sites using the Content Management System.

eLearning (Blackboard Account) Your MyBGSU account is requested automatically as part of the BGSU E-Mail Account Creation process. The time your account is available depends on the time your BGSU account was created. Click here for details.
ePortfolio To access ePortfolio, use a web browser and enter http:// yourBGSUuserID.with.bgsu.edu as the URL. If you do not already have an account, an account registration page will be displayed. The username for all e-Portfolio accounts

Personal Web Server Account Obtaining a Personal Web Server Account Account will be created at the top of the hour.
Podcast Server Podcast Server Account Request Takes approximately 2 or 3 days to process the request.
SGI Workstations - (instructors request an account for students who need one) Administrative or Class Account Requests Takes 2 - 3 days to process an account request.
Voicemail (Audix) Account Students --> Voicemail Assistance Faculty/Staff --> Change Telephone Display and/or Voicemail Request Form
Windows XP Domain Server Account Automatically created when your BGSU E-mail account is created.
