Click the Search link or the Search for Classes button on this page to navigate to the Search for Classes tab where you can search for classes or Browse the Course Catalog.



HOW TO VIEW MY CLASS SCHEDULE LINK:

Select Class Schedule from the Other Academic list then click the Go (>>) button.



MY CLASS SCHEDULE OVERVIEW:

On this page you can view the details of your class schedule.

The Book List button navigates you to the online BGSU Book Store and allows you to order the books for the classes on your class schedule.

Class Schedule details that can be viewed here include, Status, Waitlist Position, Days and Times of class, Location of class, Instructor, how the class is being Graded, Academic Calendar Deadlines, and number of Units the class is worth.

Notice the financial responsibilities agreement (FRA) at the bottom of the page. When you enroll in classes at BGSU, you assume full financial responsibility for the classes in which you enroll.

NOTE:

The go to feature, which is available on most pages, offers another way to navigate back to the Student Center page links and My Class Schedule links.  Just click  the drop-down arrow, make your page selection and click the blue arrow.




HOW TO ADD A CLASS (ENROLL IN CLASSES) OVERVIEW:

Select Enrollment: Add from the other academic… list then click the Go (>>) button to navigate to the Add Classes page.



You will navigate to the Add Classes page where you will add class selections to a shopping cart.

You can choose to search for classes by selecting the Class Search option and clicking the Search button.

Or, if you already have the class number, type the class number in the Enter Class Nbr field and press the enter button.

The Enrollment Shopping Cart section allows you to view class details before actually enrolling in that class.

The Class Schedule section gives you  information on classes in which you are currently enrolled.  You can collapse this section by clicking the green arrow in its title bar.



HOW TO DROP A CLASS OVERVIEW:

Select Enrollment: Drop from the other academic… list then click the Go (>>) button to navigate to the My Class Schedule page.  



Click in the checkbox in front of the class you want to drop to insert a checkmark and then click the Drop Selected Classes button.

Notice the Enrolled, Dropped, and Wait Listed symbol descriptions.

These symbols appear in the Class Status column.

NOTE:
The system does not allow you to drop your last remaining class in a term.  Contact your college to drop your last class.


HOW TO VIEW GRADES:

Select Grades from the Other Academic list then click the Go (>>) button.



The View My Grades page appears.  To view grades for a different term than the one displayed, click the Change Term button.

On the View My Grades - Select Term page, choose the appropriate term and then click the Continue button.

After you select the appropriate term, you will navigate to the View My Grades page.

On this page you will be able to view Official Grades for the term you selected.

You can also view how many units you have taken and passed that are included in your GPA.

You can also view Total Grade Points and Academic Standing. Click Academic Standing Information button to view an explanation of your current standing.

At the bottom right, there is a Printer Friendly Page link that will allow you to print this page.




HOW TO CHANGE GRADING OPTIONS OVERVIEW:

Select Enrollment: Edit from the Other Academic list then click the Go (>>) button.



You are taken to the Edit Class Enrollment Options - Select a class to edit page.

In the Classes you are allowed to edit section select the appropriate class from the drop-down menu.

Click the Proceed to Step 2 of 3 button.



Next you are navigated to the Edit Class Enrollment Options page.

The options on this page will allow you to edit how the class is graded.

The system will display the grading options allowed for the class.  In this example, you can select from Audit, Graded, and Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory.

Click the Next button to continue the process.



HOW TO VIEW OTHER ACADEMIC OPTIONS:

Use the drop-down arrow in the other academic field to view or receive  information about:

Apply for Graduation - allows you to apply for graduation online.

Transcript: Request Official - this option allows you to request an official transcript.

Transcript: View Unofficial - with this option you can view your unofficial transcript.

Transfer Credit: Report - this option allows you to view approved transfer credits from other institutions.

When you have selected an option, click the Go (>>) button to proceed.

 



HOW TO VIEW FINANCIAL AID:

In the Finances section, click the link for View Financial Aid.

You will navigate to the Financial Aid - Select Aid Year to View.



Click the Aid Year link to view the Financial Aid Award Summary page for the selected aid year.

HOW TO ACCEPT/DECLINE FINANCIAL AID AWARDS:

In the Finances section, click the link for Accept/Decline Awards.

You will navigate to the Financial Aid - Select Aid Year to View.



Click the Aid Year link to go to the Financial Aid Award Package page for the selected aid year.



View details of Financial Aid Award Package for the selected year.

Accept and/or Decline Financial Aid Awards.

Click the Submit button to acknowledge choices.



HOW TO UPDATE PERSONAL INFORMATION:

You can update your Names and Emergency Contact information. The links to Demographic Data and Privacy Settings will navigate you to printable forms.

This example will concentrate on updating an Emergency Contact.

In the Personal Information section click the Emergency Contact link.



You will navigate to your Emergency Contacts page.

Follow the directions to Edit, Add, and/or Delete an Emergency Contact.

You can access other aspects of your personal information by clicking on the tabs (Addresses, Names, Phone Numbers, etc.) near the top of the page.



SEARCH FOR CLASSES OVERVIEW:

Click the Search for Classes button to search for individual classes using course information or by browsing the course catalog.

You will use this button to search for individual classes or browse the course catalog

When you click this button you will navigate to the Class Search page.



The Search for Classes page allows you to select the appropriate term and then search for individual classes.

Enter as many criteria as you wish (with a minimum of two) to frame your search.  There are several criteria you may enter, such as Term, Course Subject and Course Number, Campus, Meeting Time, and Instructor Last Name.

Click the Search button when you have entered your criteria and want to see a list of classes that fit your search.

 



COMMUNICATIONS OVERVIEW:

This area can be used for personal reminders, to students, from university offices

Information here will include any Holds or To Do's applicable to the student.

Other useful information for students contained in this section will be enrollment dates and other enrollment details and advisor names and phone numbers.
