limit) e-mail that is going to an @listproc address = 2MB maximum*.

What is my quota on the e-mail system? The mailbox quota for all users on the BGSU Exchange system will be 500 Mb.
How can I check my mailbox size? Outlook Web Access (OWA) Premium is the easiest client to use to check your mailbox size. All you have to do is to hold your mouse over your name on your
main mailbox for a few seconds until your quota is displayed. This feature is not available in OWA Light.
Outlook 2007 also provides quota information but it is given in K and you have to convert it to MB.

- Right click on your main mailbox and select 'Properties for Mailbox - your name'.
- Click the Folder Size button near the bottom of the mailbox properties window.
- The local data tab is selected by default. It tells you the space used on your desktop. Click the Server Data tab to see the
amount of space you are using on the server.
- Divide the number of K listed for Total Size (including sub-folders) by 1,000 to get the number of MB of mailbox space used.
In Entourage 2008, you can only find the size of individual folders. You will have to do that for each folder on the server and calculate the
sum. Since the size is given in K, you will need to divide by 1,000 to get the equivalent in MB so you can determine how close
you are to your quota.
To find the size of an individual folder, hold down the Control key and click the folder, then select Folder properties from
the menu displayed. On the Folder Properties window, click the Storage tab. The size is listed in K on the Total Size (with
subfolders). Make sure you convert K to MB by dividing by 1,000.
Are POP and IMAP access supported? Neither the POP3 nor traditional IMAP4 protocols will be supported by the new system, however the encrypted IMAPS protocol

What is an Office BGSU e-mail account? An Office BGSU E-Mail Account is a special type of BGSU e-mail account for University administrative and academic departments,
other University faculty and staff groups and registered student groups. These accounts allow departments and groups to conduct
all their business correspondence through a single e-mail address.
Who can apply for an Office BGSU e-mail account? The "Application for Office BGSU E-Mail Accounts" can be obtained at the Technology Support Center (TSC) or as an online form. Only University administrative and academic departments or offices, other University faculty and staff groups and student
groups registered with the Office of Campus Activities are eligible for Office BGSU E-Mail accounts. The applicant for these accounts must be the head of the department or office, chair of the faculty or staff group or faculty
or staff advisor of a registered student group applying for the account. The applicant may also designate a Contact Person
(who may be the same person). The Contact Person will be the person ITS will contact for routine matters related to the account.

for the account. This group user-name will be used by all persons using the account. The preferred group e-mail address (

To use the account, users must have their own individual BGSU e-mail account. Members of the department or group can log into
the office account with the group's user name and password. After providing the preferred user name and password, members
are then able to create and send new e-mail messages, as well as read, respond to, and delete e-mail sent to the group e-mail
address.
In all outgoing mail, the group's e-mail address will appear on the "From:" line in the message header (e.g. dbt@bgsu.edu"). Correspondents will send e-mail to the group's e-mail address (e.g. dbt@bgsu.edu). In outgoing messages sent from the account, the e-mail address or name of the department or group will appear in the header
information. (e.g. "From: Department of Bicycle Training <dbt@bgsu.edu>")
