Alert BG Sign Up
To sign up for Alert BG you must first logon to MyBGSU. From there click the AlertBG Tab near the top of your screen
This will take you to the sign up screen where you may either create a new account or make changes to an existing account.
If you are setting up a new account, fill in all the required fields in the AlertBG Signup Form portion. You must check the checkbox that you Agree to the Terms of Service to create an account.
Once these fields have been completed you will be taken to a screen informing you that a message has been sent to your phone and that you will be required to enter a validation code from it.
At this point your phone should have a new text message. If not, verify your phone number and carrier in the Mobile Phone section and press Resend Validation Code. When you successfully receive the text message, open it to retrieve your validation code.
Once you receive your message, enter the validation code into the Validation Code box on your screen and press the Validate button. You should see the message "You have successfully signed up."
You should now be successfully registered in the AlertBG system.
