Customizing the Portal Search Portlet

1) Click the 'Customize' link on the Portal Search portlet's title bar.

2) When the Porlet Search wizard is displayed, you can select which search engine you would prefer as your default search engine.  (If you don't customize this portlet, the BGSU Web Search is selected by default.)  

 To select a search engine, click on the text box next to the search engine name.

3) Click on the Apply button in the upper right corner of the page.

4) Click on the OK button to return to My BGSU. 

Your new default search engine will appear in your Portal Search portlet.
