There are 2 ways to delete a portlet -- using the delete icon on the portlet's title bar or using the delete button on the
Customize Page.
Deleting a Portlet with the Delete Icon
Portlets that can be deleted will have 2 black buttons at the right end of their title bar.
To delete a portlet:
1) Click on the 'x' or delete portlet icon on the title bar of the portlet you want to delete.

2) You will be prompted to confirm your request to remove a portlet. Click the 'yes' or 'no' button.
3) If you click 'yes', your portlet will be removed and you will be returned to the MyBGSU page you were viewing.
Deleting a Portlet with the Delete Button on the Customize Page
1) Click the 'Customize Page' link in the horizontal navigation bar at the top of any MyBGSU page.
2) If you are not viewing the layout for the page desired, click on the appropriate tab to display it.
3) Click the box in front of the portlet you want to delete to select it.
4) Click the 'Delete' button.
5) Click the 'Close' button at the upper or lower right side of the page to return to the MyBGSU page you were viewing.
Minimizing a Portlet
Portlets that can be minimized will have 2 black buttons at the right end of their title bar.
1) Click on the minimize button. You will see the text 'Collapse' displayed when you move your mouse over it.
2) You will see the body of the portlet close so that only the title bar of the portlet is visible. To bring the rest of
the portlet back into your view, click on the minimize button again.
Remove All My Page Customizations
Use this option only if you want to remove
all of your page customizations and return to the default view. You would only want to use this if some action you have taken
has distorted your view of the portal and you want to get back to the default settings and start over.
To remove
all your customizations and return to the default view:
1) Click the 'Customize Page' link in the horizontal navigation bar at the top of any MyBGSU page.
2) Click on the 'Remove My Page Customizations' link. You will not see this link if you have not made any page customizations.
3) You will see a warning and be asked to indicate if you wish to proceed.
4) When the process completes, you will be returned to the Customize page. Click the 'Close' button at the upper or lower
right side of the page to return to the MyBGSU page you were viewing.
