My BGSU Flash Tutorials

	Logging In and Out of My BGSU

	To access MyBGSU, you must have a BGSU e-mail account. You will be able to access your MyBGSU account as soon as your BGSU e-mail account is created (approx. 1 hour after you complete the application process). The day after your BGSU e-mail account is created, you will be able to access the Blackboard portal. If you have problems with your account on either system, contact the Technology Support Center in Hayes Hall 110. To access the MyBGSU Enterprise Portal: Click on the MyBGSU icon on the BGSU Home page. Enter this URL into a supported browser: https://my.bgsu.edu To access the Blackboard Portal: Login to MyBGSU and use the MyCourses portlet. Login to MyBGSU and click on the Blackboard button on the horizontal navigation bar at the top of the page. Enter this URL into a supported browser: https://elearning.bgsu.edu Always remember to press “Logout” when you are finished. On MyBGSU, that logs you out of all the systems you received access to when you logged in. Note that closing a browser window is not equivalent to logging out. Logging out and keeping your password secret are the most important things you can do to prevent unauthorized use of your account and to protect your privacy. For online help with either the MyBGSU or Blackboard portal, see the Technology Support Center's Self Help pages. Students who need help using MyBGSU or Blackboard should go to the Student Tech Center in 127 Hayes Hall.
