The application of security patches released quarterly by Oracle is critical to the security and stability of the Oracle databases
maintained within ITS. As these patches are released, they will first be applied to test systems, tested by users, then applied
to production systems and tested in production. Keeping in mind that this process needs to be completed in an efficient and
effective manner, the following timeline has been developed for implementation. This general timeline will be followed each
quarter as security patches are released.
