License Limitations:

The use of and access to SAS OnlineDoc shall be made only by persons authorized to use the related SAS software. SAS OnlineDoc shall be used only for internal business use.

You may not:

  • modify SAS OnlineDoc
  • translate, decompile, create, or attempt to create, by reverse engineering or otherwise, the source code, which is a trade secret of the Institute, from the object code supplied hereunder
  • adapt the Program in any way or use it to create a derivative work.
  • sell such printed or duplicated copies of the Documentation.

You may:

  • print portions or all of the Documentation and may duplicate such printed Documentation only for internal use.
  • agree to ensure that all printed or duplicated copies of the Documentation contain the Institutes copyright notices.

If you encounter Java applet or search errors when using SAS OnlineDoc in Netscape on Windows, eliminating CLASSPATH definitions might correct the problem. On Windows 95:

  • Select the Start menu and the Run menu option.
  • At the prompt, enter 'sysedit' and then select OK.
  • Add the following line to the autoexec.bat file: set CLASSPATH=
  • Save the file.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Select SAS OnlineDoc from the Start menu to launch your Web browser with SAS OnlineDoc. If installing SAS OnlineDoc on a Windows PC where Netscape is the default Web browser, at the completion of the install program, if you elect to launch SAS OnlineDoc, the browser will return an error. However, you can access the product from the Start menu.
